The universe and consciousness are complex topics, as certain features related to these topics are still under investigation. As an example, the initial state of the universe is not fully known as several hypotheses are possible that can explain the universe starting from different initial conditions. We shall present one such hypothesis for the initial state of the universe. Similarly, for consciousness, several theories of mind exist that can explain the functions of the mind. However, the mechanism for transmitting the nerve signals is still uncertain. Therefore, we will present a possible mechanism for transmitting sensory signals through the nervous system to explain the mind's working.
